The Tulshidham Ashram is located on a hill in Nandankanan, Andarkilla, Chattogram. The former name of the present Tulshidham was Tulsi Das Akhra. Rath Yatra was first held in the city at the premises of Tulshidham Ashram. It is the Central Rath Yatra in the city.
Sreemath Swami Advaitananda Puri was the most renown mohanta (priest) among all the Mohata’s and the key figure at the Tulshidham Ashram was held during the month of April.
Sreemat Swami Narayan Puri was the most famous mohanta and most modern among all the mohanta’s. He was 14th mohanta (priest) of the ashram.
Also known as Krishna Janmashtami, marks the birth of Krishna i.e. the eighth avatar of Vishnu. The largest celebration of this festival takes place at the ashram.
Raas Lila is the annual cultural festival celebrated every year on the full moon day in the month of November. The festivities go on for four or five days.
